Our Story
In the Spring of 2012, after weeks of prayerful exploration and with a desire to form a biblically based, Christ-honoring church, a new ministry was formed in Lucedale, MS - Watermark Church. Since this founding, God has continued to do what only He can do:
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building” - 1 Corinthians 3
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand” - Psalm 95

FAQs
-
We’re a relaxed church, and there’s no dress code. You’ll see everything from jeans and boots to dresses and button-downs. Come in whatever makes you comfortable — we’re just glad you’re here.
-
Our services typically last about 75 minutes. We spend time singing together, praying, and hearing a Bible-based message that connects to everyday life.
You won’t be singled out or asked to stand up as a guest. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you’re comfortable.
-
Yes! We love families. We offer age-appropriate classes for children during the service, including a nursery for infants to 3 years.
If your child prefers to stay with you in service, that’s completely fine too.
-
No. Guests are never expected to give.
If you choose to call this church home, giving is one way people support the ministry — but as a visitor, please just come, worship, and feel welcome.
