Our Story

In the Spring of 2012, after weeks of prayerful exploration and with a desire to form a biblically based, Christ-honoring church, a new ministry was formed in Lucedale, MS - Watermark Church. Since this founding, God has continued to do what only He can do:

“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building” - 1 Corinthians 3

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand” - Psalm 95

Services and Groups

  • People gather inside a church sanctuary for a worship service or event, with a band on stage and a cross on the wall behind them.

    Sunday Service

Join us from 9:00am till 10:15am for a meaningful time of worship and teaching. Whether you’ve been attending church for years or you’re just exploring faith, you are warmly invited to come as you are and grow with us in community. We’d love to see you this Sunday!

  • A man stands in front of a seated audience in a small auditorium or classroom, delivering a presentation. The audience members are sitting in white chairs, some taking notes. There is a guitar and a keyboard on stage, and a large screen behind the speaker displaying graphics or text. The room has a sloped ceiling with several ceiling lights.

    Sunday Life Groups

After our Sunday Worship service, we invite you to stay and get connected through our Life Groups. These smaller gatherings for adults and children are a great way to grow deeper in your faith, build meaningful relationships, and engage in encouraging discussion.

    Wednesday Small Groups

Join us on Wednesday nights starting at 5:30pm for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship — and enjoy a meal together before class. It’s a relaxed, encouraging time to grow deeper in God’s Word and connect with one another midweek.

  • Our services typically last about 75 minutes. We spend time singing together, praying, and hearing a Bible-based message that connects to everyday life.

You won’t be singled out or asked to stand up as a guest. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you’re comfortable.

  • Yes! We love families. We offer age-appropriate classes for children during the service, including a nursery for infants to 3 years.

If your child prefers to stay with you in service, that’s completely fine too.

  • No. Guests are never expected to give.

If you choose to call this church home, giving is one way people support the ministry — but as a visitor, please just come, worship, and feel welcome.
